Angels In The Architecture (from the series: Inanimate Subjects)
This, if my memory serves me well, is in the cathedral in the center of Zaragoza, in the Kingdom of Aragon, in northern Spain. It was a long time ago, 2002 maybe. I remember that the lighting was less than ideal - in fact it was awful. Photoshop to the rescue, and suddenly it looks like there wasn’t too much wrong with the lighting. I have other photos that were taken within this cathedral, but even Photoshop cannot save them. The Spanish churches and cathedrals are like those in Italy, ornate and bedecked in medieval art. There are angels in the architecture.
