I’ve known Nigel since I started out in the analyst business. Like me, he was working as a database consultant. While I got dragged into the analysis business, he got deeper into database consultancy, writing books about database and doing high level consultancy on SQL Server for Microsoft customers. More recently he got involved in the analyst business, writing about IT Security as well as database.

In the above image, Nigel has been thoroughly Photoshopped. The background has been given a motion blur and he’s been given a small amount of color enhancement. I’ve also given Nigel an aura just because I have a plug-in that can do that, although to be honest, he does carry the aura of the database expert.
