The video below is one of many indications I picked up at CA World that CA is a different company from the one we knew 5 years ago. The video heralds John Swainson’s entry into Second Life, and his journey through Second Life to the opening of CA World in Las Vegas. IBM, CA’s main competitor, has already staked a claim to Second Life as evidenced by this photo. However, CA has clearly upped the ante with a rather impressive use of Second Life animation.

Hopefully CA won’t choose to hold the next CA World entirely in Second Life, but I guess it’s possible that there could be a Second Life version of it.
